Q9    Every quarter, The British Chambers of Commerce conducts an economic survey, known as the Quarterly Economic
         Survey (QES). The survey is the largest and most representative independent business survey in the UK. Locally,
         Lincolnshire County Council, in partnership with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and the University of Lincoln,
         encourage local participation and produce analysis from the QES.  As it is the largest scale survey of its kind, the analysis
         is used to shape policy and is closely followed by the Treasury, the Office for Budgetary Responsibility and Bank of
         England to name but a few. Businesses are urged to participate in the survey to get their voices heard, both locally and

         The survey is online, takes a couple of minutes to complete and covers topics such as sales, exports, recruitment,
         confidence and price pressures. All those who are on the panel will receive a link to the Lincolnshire Economic Briefing
         which covers the results from the survey along with other economic news.
